I’m stating the obvious here, folks.

Darius Rucker, perhaps better known as Hootie, once said, “There are two times of the year for me: football season and waiting for football season.”

Judging by a glance at my Facebook news feed, I gather that there’s plenty of people who feel the same way. I’m on the fence, and not just because of the Giants’ pitiful performance on Monday in Detroit, but like many others, just disgusted with the league and its handling of the Ray Rice situation.
